TODAY: Mainly cloudy tomorrow with isolated outbreaks of light rain or drizzle early in the day.

Drier for the afternoon with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.

NATIONAL OUTLOOK

TONIGHT: Dry and largely clear. Lowest temperatures generally ranging from 3 to 7 degrees in mainly light southeasterly breezes.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy with occasional sunny spells. Remaining dry for most areas, although a few showers may push in to Munster and south Leinster later in the day. Highest afternoon temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees. South to southeast breezes, light to moderate in strength.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Scattered showers, most frequent in southern and western coastal areas. Minimum temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees, coolest under clearer conditions in the northeast. Light to moderate southeasterly breezes.

TUESDAY: Cloudy with a few scattered showers early on. Becoming drier later in the day with some brighter spells developing. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees. South to southeast breezes, generally light to moderate in strength.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly dry to start, although outbreaks of rain will gradually push in from the west, spreading across much of the country by morning. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees. Light to moderate southeasterly breezes, veering westerly as the rain passes.

WEDNESDAY: Outbreaks of rain will continue moving eastwards across the country through the morning and afternoon with a mix of bright spells and showers following from the west. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in mainly light westerly breezes.

FURTHER OUTLOOK: Conditions are expected to remain quite changeable for the latter part of next week.
