Road closure planned for Clare town to facilitate watermain works

In a public notice, Clare County Council says a section of the N85 in Ennistymon town will be closed from 8am on Tuesday, February 6 to 6pm on Friday, February 23.

MOTORISTS are being advised that one of the busiest roads in the county will be closed for a number of weeks next month to facilitate the installation of a new water main.

In a public notice, Clare County Council says a section of the N85 in Ennistymon town will be closed from 8am on Tuesday, February 6 to 6pm on Friday, February 23.

Diversions will be in place with local traffic being facilitated via Circular Road, Church Hill Road and the N67. 

The local authority says HGVs will be diverted via Circular Road, Parliament St and the N67.

Any observations / representations regarding the proposed closure may be made by email or in writing before 4pm on January 19.
