Search for boy missing at Cliffs of Moher to resume this afternoon

A search operation for a young boy reported missing in the vicinity of the Cliffs of Moher will resume this Friday afternoon.

The land, sea and air search involving Gardaí and other emergency services began after the alarm was raised on Tuesday, July 23.

It was paused on Wednesday due to adverse weather but resumed on Thursday.

A garda spokesperson said the search operation is "expected to resume this afternoon, Friday, July 26."

Members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the Irish Coast Guard and local search and rescue services are also taking part in the search.
