White Mercedes stolen in Shannon burglary

Shannon gardaí are investigating a burglary in which a white Mercedes was stolen from the Cluainin estate.

Gardaí believe the perpetrators travelled to the scene in a red BMW A Series early hours of Wednesday morning, July 17, between 1am and 2am.

During the course of the burglary a white Mercedes C Series was stolen.

Two males, aged 18 years old, and a juvenile were arrested Wednesday night and subsequently detained under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act of 1984.

The two males were charged and brought before Limerick District Court on Friday, July 20.

Both vehicles have been recovered and an investigation is continuing, gardaí say.
