Rehabilitation works cause disruption to water supplies in Ennis

RESIDENTS and businesses in Ennis are being advised of disruption to water supplies due to rehabilitation works which are being carried out by Uisce Éireann at two locations in the town.

As part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, works which began at Station View, Quin Road at 11am this Thursday are scheduled 3pm this afternoon.

Those impacted are being asked to allow up to three hours after the restoration time for supply to fully return.

Mains rehabilitation works will also be carried on in Grendale on the Clon Road, between 8pm and 1am on Friday.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Separately, a burst water main is causing some disruption in West Clare.

Uisce Éireann says the repair works may cause supply disruptions to Doonmore, Baltard, Killard, Glascloune, Bealaha, Farrihy, Bansha, Lisgreen, Lisdeen and surrounding areas.

The works are scheduled to continue until 5pm this Thursday.
