Traffic calming measures planned for Clare town

CLARE County Council has confirmed plans to install traffic calming measures in Lahinch.

The local authority is proposing to install speed ramps on the L-1070 (School Road) in the Townlands of Lehinch and Attycristora close to the centre of the town.

According to a public notice, the works shall involve the installation of new round top ramps and the provision of all associated signage and road markings.

A public consultation process is underway and plans and particulars of the proposed scheme can be views at clarecoco.ie up until until September 18.

Submissions and observations in relation to the proposals may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing to Administrative Officer, Clare County Council, Roads and Transportation Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare.
