MOTORISTS are being advised that several road closures will be in place during the upcoming Clare Stages Rally 2023.

The local authority says closures will be in place at different times and locations across the day to facilitate the various Stages.
Stages 1-4-7 (8.20am to 5.45pm)
From Junction with L1010 and L4507 at Boston to Drumnadeevna to Ballaghaglash to Kiltackey to Leitra to Glencolumbkille to Fahee South to Tullycommon to Junction with local road and on all access roads for 220 metres.
Alternative Routes:
A - Boston L4507 to L1014 to Carron
B - Boston L1010 to Junction at Lough Bunny R460 to Ballyportry to Corofin to R476 to Kilnaboy.
Stages 2-5-8 (9am to 6.15pm)
From Junction with R480 at Glenslade to Poulnaskagh to Kilcorney to Caherconnell to Ballydoora to Noughaval to Ballymurphy to Lissylisheen to Ballymahoney to Cohy to Junction with R476 and on all access roads for 220 metres.
Alternative Routes:
A - R480 to Aillwee to Junction with N67 at Newtown, Ballyvaughan to Corkscrew Hill to Lisdoonvarna
B - R480 to Leamanagh to R476 to Kilfenora to Lisdoonvarna
Stages 3-6-9 (9am to 6.40pm)
From Junction with R476 at Lisket to Clogher to Ballinacarra to Knockroe to Caherblonick South to Toormore to Knockalunkard to Willbrook to Rannagh to Rath to Lissculaun to Newtown, Corofin to Junction with R476 and on all access roads for 220 metres.
Alternative Routes:
A – R476 to Corofin to Fountain Cross to Inagh
B - R476 to Kilfenora to Ennistymon
