A SECTION of a major Clare road will be closed Friday morning to carry out "essential repair".
The northbound off-slip of the n18 at Junction 7, for Hurler's Cross, Shannon Town and Sixmilebridge, will be closed from 9.30am until 2pm to facilitate repairs to the vehicle restraint system beside the slip road.
Diversions will be in place along the R471, for more see the map below.
In a statement from Colas Joint Venture, who are carrying out resurfacing works on the m18/N18 on behalf of TII, the repairs are due to a road traffic collision that occurred on Monday.
