One of these thefts involved a sum of expensive power tools
Gardaí are investigating a number of thefts that occurred in Ennis over recent days.
The first incident occurred in the Quin Road Industrial Estate, where the owner of the vehicle parked their grey Ford Tourneo. Between 6pm on Tuesday evening (June 3) and 7am on Wednesday morning (June 4), a person or persons stole the front grill and fog light covers from the vehicle.
Gardaí are also investigating the theft of sun visors and trimming from a vehicle that was parked in the car park of the West County Hotel at 1am on Wednesday morning (June 4). The owner of the vehicle discovered the theft at 6am when they were leaving for work. During this five-hour window, the sun visors and trimming were stolen from the van.
Ennis Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have been in the Quin Road Industrial Estate on Tuesday night or in the West County Hotel car park, did you witness any vehicle acting suspiciously or out of character? Along with this, Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a third incident that occurred between 10pm on Thursday night (June 5) and 8:30am on Friday morning (June 6) in the Feagh Newhall area. On Thursday night, the owner of a black Volkswagen Amorak parked this vehicle outside their home. The next morning they discovered that the vehicle had been entered and a number of power tools had been stolen.

Newhall is accessible from both the Kildysert Road and the Kilrush Road.
