Gardaí in Newmarket on Fergus are investigating the theft of a trailer from a farmyard on the outskirts of the town.
In a renewed appeal for information, they say the Ifor Williams car trailer was taken from a property at Ralahine South in Newmarket on Fergus sometime between 8pm on Thursday, January 23 and 8am the following morning.
While gardai are seeking to locate the trailer and apprehend the culprits, they are also appealing to members of the public to be vigilant if buying trailers privately.
"If anybody is aware of an Ifor Williams car trailer for sale and you believe there is something of concern with this sale, please report your concerns to Newmarket on Fergus garda station," said crime prevention officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan.
