Ennistymon gardaí are investigating are appealing to anyone who may have observed a beige Lexus car last Sunday night
Witnesses are being sought following two burglary incidents in County Clare on the same night over the weekend
According to gardai, the first burglary occurred in Inagh village at around 11.05pm on Sunday.
"Two males attempted to forcefully enter a retail premises but they were deterred by the owner. The two males fled the scene in a beige Lexus car," said Sergeant Catriona Holohan, crime prevention officer for Clare.
The second burglary took place at a retail premises on the Main Street in Ennistymon a short time later.
"Two males damaged the front door of a shop and subsequently fled the scene in a beige Lexus in the direction of Ennis," explained Sgt Holohan.

Ennistymon gardaí are investigating both incidents and they are appealing to anyone who may have observed the beige Lexus car travelling towards Inagh before 11pm on Sunday or on route to Ennis after 11.20pm.
Anyone with information about either incident is asked to contact them at 065 707 2180 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
Motorists with dash-cam footage are also asked to make the footage available to gardai.
