Gardaí in Ennis are investigating the theft of an Ifor Williams trailer which has a unique feature.

In an appeal for information they say the trailer was parked up in the Drummeen West area of Ennis on Thursday, December 12 when it was taken.

"The owner discovered that the trailer had been stolen on Saturday evening (two days later). This was a flat body trailer with a square jack. There was slight damage to the body of the trailer which makes the trailer unique," said a garda spokesperson.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed a vehicle towing an Ifor Williams trailer in the Drummeen West area of Ennis between Thursday, December 12 and Saturday, December 14 to contact Ennis garda station at (065) 684 8100 or your local garda station.
