Gardai seek to identify culprits who broke into commercial premises in Clare village

Gardaí in Tulla are investigating a burglary that took place in Kilkishin earlier this week - just before Christmas.

In an appeal seeking assistance from members of the public, they say a premises at Main Street in the village was entered at around 3am on Monday, December 23.

"Two males travelled to the scene in a grey vehicle, saloon in style from the direction of Kilmurry and attempted to gain access to a commercial premises on the Main Street," said a  garda spokesperson who added that within a few minutes both perpetrators fled the scene - travelling in the direction of Kilmurry.

Their exact movements after this are unclear.

Anyone with information about the incident or who may have observed the grey car is asked to contact Tulla garda station on 065 6835103.

Investigations are ongoing.
