Gardai in Newmarket on Fergus are investigating an incident of criminal damage at a residential property in the town ten days ago.

In a renewed appeal for witnesses and information they say the property in the Gleanncora estate was attacked at around 9pm on Friday, November 29 - the same day at the General Election.

"During this incident the front window of a home was broken," said a garda spokesperson who added that three males were seen running from the scene.

"Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have observed three males in the Gleanncora Estate in Newmarket on Fergus to please contact Newmarket on Fergus garda station on 061 368172," added the spokesperson.
