'The Boss' is back in Ireland for four concerts this month, with tens of thousands of Irish fans set to rock on with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band in Belfast, Kilkenny, Dublin and Cork.
Arguably the most important part of the trip (other than securing a ticket!) is a good parking spot.
You've got your ticket and accommodation, you've chosen your outfit, you even know what merch you're going to pick up, but none of it matters without a good place to park.
The perfect spot - or even an acceptable spot - can be very hard to find depending on the venue, and with thousands of others fans looking for the same thing, it's best to prepare ahead of time.
Here are the best places to park for May's gigs:
Car parks close to Nowlan Park include O'Loughlin Gaels
Over 1,000 parking spaces are available at MacDonagh Junction, which will be operating on a pre-booked basis only for €11 from 4pm - 1am.
Concert goers are reminded that the area around Nowlan Park is residential and are urged to park responsibly.
Unfortunately, there is no parking available in the vicinity of Boucher Playing Fields, with most concert-goers urged to use bus and rail transport options.
Translink offers a special deal on public transport to events, and Bruce Springsteen's 2024 World Tour is no different.
While the Bus Special is currently sold out, the Rail Special is still available, with hundreds of seats up for grabs upon writing.
Additionally, a train can be taken from Great Northern Mall to City Council Depot (with a 5 minute walk to Boucher Playing Fields), and Lancefield Road (plus a 12 minute walk).
Parking in Belfast City Center includes Q-Park in Victoria Square (open 24 hours), and Hi Park (closes 11pm).
No parking is available at Pairc Uí Chaoimh for concert goers, except for 15 parking spaces for wheelchair users.
Specific Wheelchair permits need to be requested in writing from Cork County Board (contact (021) 4963311 or send a letter of request to Cork GAA, Mainport, Monahan Road, Cork City).
Gardaí recommend people walk 15 minutes to the grounds from the City Centre where possible, with city parking available at Cork City Car Parks, Cork City Q Parks, Blackrock GAA Club, and Cork Constitution Rugby Club.
The recommended drop off point is near Páirc Uí Rinn on Boreenmanna Road, which is a 5 minute walk to the stadium.
Alternatively, public transport is available for concert goers:
According to the Pairc Uí Chaoimh website, Route 202 operates from Merchants Quay to Mahon Point and customers can board at Merchants Quay in the City Centre or at Mahon Point, to be dropped off at Ballintemple, adjacent to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
The stadium is a 5 minute walk from this stop.
The enhanced Route 202 will reportedly operate a direct bus from Lapp’s Quay to Monaghan Road adjacent to Páirc Uí Chaoimh every 10 minutes.
After the concert, Route 202 will depart from ‘The Venue Bar’ Ballintemple to the City Centre, while Route 215 or 219 stops at the Churchyard Lane stop which is 10 minutes to the stadium.
Parking around Croke Park is limited as the area surrounding the stadium is residential.
However, a limited number of spaces for those with accessible needs is available at Croke Park.
Concert goers should be aware of parking restrictions around the venue, as well as increased traffic volumes and potential significant delays.
The stadium is well sign posted from the city and from cordon entry points, and attendees can plan their walking route by using Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps
O'Connell Schools' Supervised Car Park on North Circular Road is open for 2 hours before all events until 1 hour after with a cost of €10 per car.
Park Rite at the Parnell Centre Car Park is another option for concert-goers, as well as Q-Park at The Spire car park on Marlborough Street (open 24 hours).
Alternatively, bus routes serving Croke Park include 1, H1, H2, H3, 7, 11, 13, 14, 16, 27/A/B, 29A, 31/A/B, 32, 33, 40/B/D, 41/B/C, 42, 43, 44, 53, 123, and 130.
The Luas Red Line stop at Connolly Station is just a 15-minute walk to Croke Park, and the stadium is a similar walking distance from both Parnell and Marlborough stops on the Luas Green Line.
All four concerts begin at 7pm on their respective nights.
