Met Éireann have today issued a Status Yellow rain warning for County Clare, to come into effect on Saturday, December 13.
The Irish weather forecaster have warned of heavy rain spells and flood risks due to high river levels and saturated ground. Other counties impacted by this weather warning include Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal and the entirety of Connacht.

River and surface water flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility are the likely impacts of these heavy rain spells that are expected.
The Status Yellow weather warning will come into effect on Saturday, December 13 at 6pm and will lift on Monday, December 15, at midnight.
