Ireland's weather experts have weighed in on the incoming tropical Storm Dexter that is forming over the Atlantic and will possibly make its presence felt over Ireland next week.
German weather model ICON has suggested that the storm could grow stronger and more severe as it could edge towards Ireland in the coming days but as for now it looks as though we will get away with a few scattered showers.

Carlow Weatherman Alan O'Reilly has said Storm Dexter is "likely to blow himself out in the Atlantic before getting close to Ireland," adding that there is a "small chance that remnants of him could bring us some showers early next week."
Cathal Nolan from Ireland's Weather Channel has said there will be no direct impact on Ireland and that temperature may even start to rise from next week.
As with all weather models we can't tell for certain how it will impact us but for the moment it seems like we will have to put up with some unsettled weather.
Met Éireann's forecast for the coming weekend shows a mixed bag with temperatures averaging around 21 degrees.
