OUTLOOK: Cooler initially and changeable through midweek. Drier conditions will likely set in towards the end of the week with increasing temperatures.
TODAY: Sunny spells and well scattered showers for the morning though cloud will build from the southwest with outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving in around midday, slowly extending over much of the southwestern half of the country through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in mostly light west to northwest breezes.
TONIGHT: Cloudy with outbreaks of rain during the night, with heavy falls at times over the southern half of the country. Parts of the north and northeast will stay dry. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees generally, slightly cooler in parts of Ulster, in light southeasterly or variable breezes.
TOMORROW: Largely cloudy and wet to start with rain, heavy in some parts. Rain will clear northeastwards with sunny spells and showers following, some heavy. Duller conditions and outbreaks of rain may linger across the north and northeast into the evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds, becoming variable later.
FRIDAY: A day of sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees generally.
SATURDAY: Current indications suggest that Saturday will be a somewhat warmer day. Mostly dry as well with just a few showers possible.
