The Clare Ladies footballers will open their Lidl National League campaign against Wexford this Sunday afternoon.
Both counties, which each have genuine hopes of promotion from division 3, will clash in Taghmon at 1pm in what could be a cracking game.
Wexford have experience and class all over the pitch, similar to Clare, who contested the Division 3 Lidl NFL and TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate finals last year, losing out narrowly to Kildare on both occasions.
Both counties are two to watch this year in the race for league and championship honours.
