Despite a heroic fight, Cork overcame a late comeback by Clare in the oneills.com Munster GAA U20 Hurling Championship semi-final at Cusack Park on Friday night, May 17.

The young Banner men were able to pull ahead in the final minutes thanks to two Diarmuid Stritch goals and three points, but the Rebels dug deep to take the win.

The win now sets Cork up for a Munster final against Tipperary on Friday, May 24.

The final score: Clare 2-16 Cork 1-23
