Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them
Three teenage girls have been hospitalised with serious injuries after a single-car crash late last night in Wicklow.
Gardaí attended the scene of this serious incident that occurred at Carrigroe in Tinahely on Saturday, September 13.
At approximately 11:30pm, the vehicle collided with a ditch and overturned.
The male driver, aged in his late teens, was uninjured. However, three female passengers, all teenagers, received serious injuries and were removed from the scene to Tallaght University Hospital and St Vincent's University Hospital. They all remain in a serious condition. Three other passengers were not injured also.

The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 10pm and 11:45pm on Saturday, September 13 are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
