Man, 40s, dies and woman, 30s, seriously injured in head- on collision
A fatal road crash has occurred in Limerick where one man tragically died and a woman has been seriously injured, Limerick Live has reported.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N20 at Ballyouragan, Croom, County Limerick on Thursday morning, August 14.
The collision occurred at approximately 7.25am and involved two cars. It is believed to have been been a head-on collision.

A garda spokesperson said a man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"A woman, aged in her 30s, has been taken to hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be serious. No other injuries were reported," said a garda spokesperson.
The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 7am and 7.30am this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
