The Met Éireann Weather Warning came into effect at 5:39am and will lift at 9am
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow fog warning for the majority of the country this Thursday morning, June 19.
The warning is in place for Leinster (Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow), Cavan, Monaghan and Munster (Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford).

With drivers being warned of poor visibility on the roads, the Met Éireann Weather Warning came into effect at 5:39am and will lift at 9am. The public are being urged to travel with caution.
When the fog does clear, it is understood that the rest of the day is set to be filled with sunshine and warm temperatures of up to 26 degrees, with the highest temperatures further north of the country.
