ALERT: Gardai in urgent appeal as concerns grow for man, 35, reported missing in Westmeath

Arthur Johnson from Mullingar was last seen in the early hours of Easter Monday

Gardaí have issued a public appeal for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 35-year-old who has been reported as missing from his home in the Midlands.

Arthur Johnson from Mullingar, County Westmeath, is described as 5' 8" in height, with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes and has a beard.

According to gardai, when last seen in the early hours of Easter Monday, he was wearing a blue checked shirt and grey trousers.

In an appeal, issued this Monday afternoon, they say both they and Arthur's family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the 35-year-old is asked to contact Mullingar garda station at 044 938 4000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
