ardaí seized a vehicle travelling at 206km/h in a 120km/h speed limit zone
A car was seized by An Garda Síochána after it was travelling nearly double the speed limit.
The motorist was travelling at speeds of 206km/h on the M6 where the speed limit was 120km/h.
Gardaí from Tuam Roads Policing Unit detected the driver breaking the speed limit and the car was seized.
This occurred on the M6 near Ballinasloe in Galway on Saturday February 1st.
Gardaí said court prosecution is to follow.
