A total of 23 vehicles were seized along with €400,000 in cash
Nearly two dozen high-powered vehicles and a significant quantity of cash have been seized during a major law enforcement operation targeting members of a Dublin-based crime gang.
Members of the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) conducted the search operation at several locations in west Dublin as part of ongoing investigations into individuals who are linked to the organised crime group.
Confirming details of the operation, gardai say the group is involved in the trafficking of controlled drugs in the DMR West Division.
"CAB officers were assisted by gardaí from DMR West, the Emergency Response Unit, the Armed Support Unit, the Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation Unit and the Customs Dog Unit," said a spokesperson who added that the operation involved 130 personnel carrying out searches at 14 different locations.
