Drugs worth more than €500,000 were recovered during searches as part of Operation Tara
Two men are being questioned by gardai in Limerick following a number significant drugs seizures in the city.
Confirming details of the arrests, gardaí revealed the intelligence-led operation began after a vehicle was stopped by gardai on Friday.
During the course of the search, suspected cocaine worth an estimated €490,000, was seized.
"During a separate search, under warrant, of a property in the city suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 was seized," said a spokesperson who added that all of the drugs seized will now undergo further analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.

Two men, aged in their 40s and 60s, were arrested and they are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 in a garda station in the Limerick area.
Gardai, who have not publicly confirmed the locations of the seizures, say investigations are ongoing.
