Irish EuroMillions punter scoops €500k as Lotto bosses reveal where winning ticket was sold

One lucky Irish punter has won a staggering €500,000 in Friday night's EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winner walked away with the top prize in the draw and Irish players are now being urged to check their tickets.

It follows Lotto bosses crowning five new millionaires in the last seven days as the luck appears to be on Irish soil.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers in the 24th May draw were:31, 37, 38, 39, 48.

Players in Dublin should be on high alert as the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Tesco Ireland, Clonsilla, Roselawn, Dublin 15.

The Dublin player has become the ninth EuroMillions Plus top prize winner of 2024 following wins by players in Dublin (2) Tipperary, Cork, Wicklow (2) Kilkenny and Laois.

The winner, who now has a ticket worth €500,000, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lotto HQ.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Ruane said: “It’s been the most memorable week of wins we’ve experienced in the National Lottery. Five new millionaires made in just seven days! To round off the week, we’ve just had someone in Dublin scoop the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000!

"We are urging all of our players in Dublin to carefully check their tickets and if you discover you’re the winner, sign the back of your ticket and make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect your prize in Lotto HQ.”

Meanwhile, tonight's (Saturday, May 25) Lotto Jackpot rolls to an estimated €3.2 Million. Lotto players dreaming of being added to the growing list of Ireland’s newest millionaires are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store nationwide, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this Saturday.
