Man arrested after cocaine worth 1.12m euro seized at Dublin Airport

Irish police have arrested a man in his 30s after cocaine worth 1.12 million euro was seized by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport.

As part of an intelligence-led operation on Thursday, approximately 16kg of cocaine was discovered when officers stopped and searched the baggage of a passenger who had travelled from Washington.

The arrested man has been charged and is due to appear in court.

Police said investigations are ongoing.
