Gardaí clock bus at almost double the speed limit near school in Clare
A bus has been clocked by gardaí travelling at almost double the speed limit near a school in Co Clare.
A Clare Roads Policing Unit was conducting a speed check on Thursday morning near a school in Ennistymon when the incident occurred.
Gardaí say a number of vehicles were detected speeding in this 50km/h limit zone including the 52-seater coach travelling at 89km/h.
Gardaí have renewed calls for drivers to slow down on the roads.
