An Irish man is attempting to set a new Guinness World Record travelling between the northernmost and southernmost points of Ireland using an unusual method of transport.
Eamonn Keaveney's record attempt is currently underway as he makes his way from Mizen to Malin Head on a unicycle.
He set off from Mizen Head in Cork earlier yesterday (September 10) with the hopes of reaching Malin Head in Donegal by September 15.
He will travel through Macroom, Sixmilebridge, Claremorris, Bundoran, and Derry.
Eamonn's endeavour aims to raise awareness and donations for the Simon Community, which helps homeless people all across the country.
It's not the first time he has fundraised or attempted to set a record; he previously walked around Ireland barefoot and subsequently set the record for the Longest Barefoot Journey, and in 2018 he climbed the highest peaks in Ireland in 10 days (also barefoot).
Eamonn is chronicling his journey on the Facebook page 'One Wheel, One Way' (click here), where updates on his progress are posted regularly.
