Motorists travelling on the M18 motorway are being advised of potential delays close to Shannon due to planned drainage works.
In a public notice, Colas Joint Venture says there will be restrictions at Junction 9 (Shannon) overnight this Wednesday and again overnight on Thursday.
The drainage works, which are being carried out on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland, will take place between 10pm and 6am each night.
On Wednesday night, Lane 1 of the on and off slips will be closed on the northbound carriageway while on Thursday, a similar closure will be in place on the southbound carriageway.
Colas Joint Venture says diversions will be in place each night.
The company says the closures could be lifted earlier than scheduled if the drainage works are complete.
