Motorists and road users are being advised of restrictions at Main Street in Clarecastle this Monday and Tuesday.

In a public notice, the local authority says a lane closure will be in place to facilitate essential works which are being carried out by Uisce Éireann in the village.

To deliver these works safely and efficiently a road lane closure will be in place on the R458 at Barrack Street, from its junction with Patrick Street to its junction with St Flannan’s Avenue (Clarecastle Pharmacy).

The cycle lane and footpath in the area will also be closed for the duration of works and traffic management measures will be in place, including signage and alternative routes for pedestrians and cyclists.
