'We are honoured': Clare charities set to benefit from major Analog Devices donation
Analog Devices inc (ADI) has contributed a total of €170,000 to support 50 local community initiatives in Clare and beyond through the ADI Ireland Community Awards.

The annual awards celebrate the company’s longstanding commitment to being a positive force in every community where it operates, in Limerick, Cork and Dublin. This year sees the highest total donation and number of award recipients since the programme began in 2017.

The record-breaking fund will support a diverse range of educational, social, charitable, cultural and artistic initiatives across Ireland.
In Clare, St Anne's Special School in Ennis recieved €5,000 while Ogonnelloe Hurling Club, Clonlara GAA Club, Ardú ASD Preschool and Shannon Toastmasters Club were all awarded €2,000 each.

Employees from ADI’s Cork, Limerick and Dublin sites were encouraged to nominate local organisations close to their hearts, resulting in over 200 nominations.

Meabh Shine, Senior Director, Power Control at ADI said: “Our Community Awards celebrate local organisations that make a real difference in supporting families, education and wellbeing in the places we call home. This programme is about recognising and amplifying the incredible efforts happening in our communities. We are proud to celebrate the record number of local organisations recognised this year through our awards programme.”

Brendan O’Dowd, Managing Director, Precision Technology at ADI added:  “Each organisation recognised through our Community Awards was nominated by ADI employees who are personally involved and passionate about these causes. This programme reflects the strong connection between our people and the communities where we live and work. We are honoured to help amplify the impact of these organisations and the difference they make every day.”
