Ahead of the first-ever regular season NFL match in Ireland this weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers have arrived in Ireland and are currently undertaking a nationwide tour of the country.
The Terrible Towel tour, which has visited a number of tourist attractions in Clare, is being led by former Pittsburgh Steelers player and two-time Super Bowl Champion Max Starks.
On Tuesday, he visited local spots including the Cliffs of Moher, University of Limerick with Munster Rugby, Harte’s Pub in Gort, and other Galway landmarks such as the Spanish Arch and Eyre Square.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon in the first ever regular season game to be played in Ireland.

The match, which kicks off at 2.30pm (Irish time), will attract an attendance of more than 76,000 people as Hill 16 has been fitted with temporary seating while a third large screen has also been installed at GAA HQ.

The game will be broadcast on free-to-air TV in Ireland on Virgin Media and to millions of people across the Unites States.
Around 30,000 NFL fans are expected to travel from America for Sunday's much-anticipated fixture which will generate an economic boost of more than €100m for the country.
