An urgent road closure will be put in place to facilitate emergency drainage works, Clare County Council has revealed.
The R487 will close for these essential works between the junction with L2009-0 at Marine Parade Kilkee and the junction with L2021-0.
The road was closed on Friday, September 5 and will close again on Monday, September 8 until Friday, September 12.

The road will be sealed off on these days from 9am to 5pm.
Local diversions will be in place with alternative routes via L2009-7 Circular Road, L2015-0 Chapel Street.
The notice was given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 (6) of the Roads Regulations 1994.
