Clare Animal Welfare have issued a desperate appeal to find a foster or '"forever" home for a three-legged lurcher left in the lurch.
Rory, a "lovely" two-year old lurcher uurgently needs a place to stay as a fosterer the group had lined up for him is leaving the country for a month this Wednesday.
"We have nowhere for him to go," Clare Animal Welfare shared on Facebook this Monday, November 11.
"We have less than 48 hours to find him a foster home or a forever home. We are not ashamed to say that we are panicking."
Rory is a lovely two year old lurcher with three legs, according to the group. He loves being around people and he loves being around other dogs.
He’s great to bring to the dog park or to meet up with other dogs on walks because he gets on with them all.

He ignores cats on walks and could probably live with a dog savvy cat. He has medium exercise requirements and is a typical lurcher, loves to chill out and sleep.
"Rory might suit someone who works from home and would like a quiet dog for company," Clare Animal Welfare shared.
Fill out the form if you are interested in fostering Rory or if you are interested in adopting him please fill in this form.
