The Falls Hotel in Co Clare
The All Ireland Young People in AA (IREYPAA) is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 2024 Convention, taking place in the picturesque Ennistymon, Co. Clare from 8-10 March 2024.
IREYPAA is an annual celebration of sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous with an emphasis on showing how young people can get and stay sober.
The convention is open to all members of Alcoholics Anonymous as well as those who feel they may have a problem with alcohol or know someone who does.
There will be a dynamic lineup of speakers and workshops designed to empower attendees to overcome alcoholism and discover what life can be like in sobriety, and activities all weekend including a sea swim in Lahinch, a Sunday hike by Liscannor, and the sober rave on Friday and Saturday night!
This international gathering brings together young people in recovery from around the world to celebrate sobriety.
All members of the public are welcome to attend the Open Meeting on Friday 8 March at 8pm.
It is an all inclusive event with specific meetings and workshops for Young Women in AA, LGBT+ in AA, and those who are Single in Sobriety.
If you’re not sure that you qualify as ‘young’, don’t worry! IREYPAA is open to young people and those who are young at heart. Alcoholics Anonymous is open to anyone who has a “desire to stop drinking” - simple as that.
