TWO MEN were injured following a stabbing in a Clare town this weekend.
The incident took place in the vicinity of O’Connell Street in Ennis shortly before 5:30pm on Friday evening.
Two men, one in his forties and one in his twenties, were injured. The older man was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, while the man in his twenties was not taken to hospital.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, with enquiries ongoing, and are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
