TONIGHT morning will be rather dull with low cloud.

It will brighten up during the day, but there will be still be some outbreaks of light rain or drizzle around too.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in a light to moderate southerly airflow.

NATIONAL OUTLOOK

TONIGHT: Another mostly cloudy night with largely dry conditions aside from spots of light rain or drizzle. Some mist and hill fog also. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees with mainly light southerly winds.

TOMORROW: A cloudy morning with some drizzle in places, becoming mainly dry for the afternoon with cloud lifting and some late sunshine developing. Afternoon highs of 9 to 11 degrees. Southerly winds will be light or moderate in strength.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Mainly dry under broken cloud, although some patchy drizzle is likely. Temperatures dipping to between 2 to 5 degrees generally. Winds will be mainly light and southeasterly.

MONDAY: Dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells for most, however cloudier conditions with a little drizzle may affect eastern and southern counties. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with moderate southeast winds.

TUESDAY: Tuesday is looking likely to stay dry for many areas with bright spells, although there is some uncertainty and there may be some rain in western and southern counties. Afternoon highs of 10 to 13 degrees, although a little cooler along the east coast with moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.

FURTHER OUTLOOK: Rain is expected to move in from the Atlantic on Wednesday, with colder conditions following for Wednesday night.
