Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind weather warning for multiple counties, including Clare, on January 10 2025.

The status yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Wexford, Wicklow.

This will bring very windy conditions with strong and gusty southwest winds.

Potential impacts are some wave overtopping, loose objects displaced, some fallen trees and branches and difficult travelling conditions.

This weather warning is valid from 4pm Sunday 11/01/2026 to midnight on Monday 12/01/2026.
