RIP: Clare communities unite in grief as tributes are paid to 'wonderful lady'

Mother-of-two Audrey Lennon from Shannon passed away at University Hospital Limerick at the weekend

Tributes have poured following the death of Clare woman Audrey Lennon (née Mackey) at the weekend.

Audrey died peacefully in University Hospital Limerick and will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family, husband Eric, daughter Clodagh, son Mark, grandchildren Aláine, Seán and Kate, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Ruby, sister Ruth (Doyle), brother Michael, her extended family and friends. She is predeceased brothers Pat and Greg.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Audrey, of Cronan Lawn Shannon and Ardnacrusha, will repose in Mc Mahon's funeral home Shannon on Tuesday (July 1), from 6pm to 7:30pm, followed by removal to Ss John and Paul's Church.

Her Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11:30am and will be followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

Heartfelt messages have been posted to the condolences section of RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Audrey, with one mourner writing,

"To Eric and Clodagh and extended family I am truly sorry ye have lost wonderful lady in Adurey so grateful for all the chats, thoughts and prayers with you during this difficult time. RIP".

Another message said, "So sorry to hear this sad news. Condolences to Eric, Clodagh, Mark and all the family. Audrey was such a lovely lady. RIP."

"Condolences, to Eric, Clodagh, and Mark, and grandchildren. May she rest in peace. She will be sadly missed," another person said.
