ENDA Gallery has teamed up with long-time friend has released a ‘danceable’ track just in time to end the summer on the right note.

Enda released Water, on August 16, a single which was written during the summer of 2021 with his friend Grün Glas in Berlin.

Speaking of the track, the Clare artist said: “We really wanted to make a gorgeous danceable track that was like a call to experience the freshness and rebirth that only Water can give. All the ocean, sea and lake swimmers out there reading will know what I mean.

“It didn’t feel right to put it out at that time as we really wanted people to dance to it. Now feels like the time it needs to go out.”

The artist met Grün Glas while studying Music Technology at the University of Limerick.

“We were the two nerds in the class and we always wanted to work together.  We both ended up in Berlin together for some years which was beautiful.  When we worked together the first time it got a lot of attention. It was lovely to work together again with a friend of 14 years and create this.”

According to the singer-songwriter, the song seems to connect with music lovers across the globe.

“The first few days of its release have been going beautifully. People are listening all around the world. We heard it was added to over 500 personal playlists already. So that’s lovely that people are connecting so much to it. That’s an honour,” he said.

Enda, who has worked in the past with several Limerick artists, is currently working on producing the albums of a few familiar faces.

“I’m also finishing the production on new albums for Strange Boy, Willzee, Baba and have projects with Hazey Haze and Cíarán Móran - all of which I’m honoured to be part of,” he said.
