A RETAILER in Ennis has been ordered to close an external food store room due to food safety concerns.

The proprietor of the premises at Cloughleigh Road in the town was issued with a closure order on January 12, 2024, by the Health Service Executive (HSE).

The exact reasons for the closure under the FSAI Act 1998 have not been disclosed publicly but are likely to be released in the coming weeks.
