Clare Gardaí appeal for witnesses to hit-and-run incident

AN GARDA Síochána in Clare have appealed for who may have witnessed a hit-and-run incident to come forward.

Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred at 00.45am last Sunday morning.

The incident took place on Carmody Street in the town.

The vehicle that left the scene is described as a blue Ford Focus or similar shape of vehicle and may have some damage to the front bumper area.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision and to any garage owners that may have been approached to fix the damage.

If anyone has any information in relation to this incident or saw anything suspicious they are encouraged to contact their local Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
