A FATAL road traffic collision on a busy Clare route has sparked garda investigation.
On the N67 near Moyasta, on route from Kilrush to Kilkee, a male cyclist was struck by a car and pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses who may have been travelling on this route on Wednesday, August 16 from 12pm to 12:30pm to contact them with information regarding the incident.
Gardaí wish to offer their condolences to the family of the cyclist who died and are also appealing to drivers to slow down, as over 100 people have passed away from road traffic incidents already this year.
