Gardaí are investigating a number of incidents that took place last week in a Clare town.
A premises in Ennis was broken into between 1am and 1.15am early on Thursday morning. Gardaí arrived on scene after being alerted by an alarm company.
They observed that the front door of the premises had been forced open, the till area ransacked and a large quantity of cigarettes had been taken.
A dark coloured Audi A3 or S3, believed to have been fitted with false registration plates, was involved with this burglary.
In a seperate incident on Friday, Gardaí received a report of theft at an off licence between 2.30pm and 5pm on Friday afternoon.
The suspect in this incident bought some alcohol but before leaving picked up a number of other alcohol items
and left the store making no attempt to pay.
Gardaí are also investigating an incident that occured between 8pm Saturday night and 8.30am on Sunday morning during which a wallet with some cash was taken from a car parked in Ennis town centre. The car was unlocked and there was no damage to the vehicle.
An outdoor table was taken from a premises in Ennis town centre last Tuesday evening between 8pm and 9pm, while at 9.30pm on the same night a report was made to Gardaí in relation criminal damage at the new site of social housing, during which the front window and front door side panel were smashed.
