ROAD WORKS that have been taking place on a busy national road into Clare have now been given an end date.
An update for the N18 surfacing works on the southbound carriageway near Bunratty has said works are ‘progressing’ and are expected to be completed by the morning of Friday, July 28.
For one week, works will be suspended completely before work on the northbound route begins. This is the week commencing July 31.
Prior to this, Wednesday July 26 and Thursday July 27 from 7pm to 6am, the N18 southbound will be closed with contraflow on northbound carriageway between cross-overs C2 (Cratloe) and C1 (N18 Junction 4). Junction 5 Cratloe southbound will be closed.
Works will begin on the northbound carriageway from August bank holiday, Monday 7.
