Gardaí are investigating a number of thefts from cars in a Clare town last week.
Three cars in the Ennis area were entered on seperate nights, with items taken from two.
According An Garda Siochána, an unlocked car parked in Waterpark View on Drumbiggle Road was entered between 10pm last Wednesday night and 4.30am Thursday morning and a sum of money was stolen.
On Saturday night last, two cars which were both unlocked were entered on the Gort Road – a car that was parked in the
Aughenteeroe estate was entered and items disturbed but nothing was stolen and another car parked in the Glenina estate was also entered and a sum of money and a gift card stolen.
In a statement, Gardaí said; "We want to remind car owners to secure their vehicles when parked outside their house or anywhere."
