A WEATHER station in Clare recorded one of the wettest days in the country with over 25mm of rain in 24 hours.
Shannon Airport recorded a total of 27.1mm of rainfall on Friday, June 14.

That makes it the sixth highest in the country, with Mount Dillion weather station in Roscommon recording just under 40mm, coming in at 39.8mm.
Wet weather can be expected at times in Clare across the weekend, with Met Éireann reported widespread showers and windy conditions for the coming days.
